How does this new feature make landscaping company communication more efficient? You can view your upcoming visits for the next 30 days. Look up details of past visits. See all your invoices. Request a specific service. Attach photos of your property to help explain what you’d like crews to do.
Other new technology features add customer convenience, too, from text alerts to photos of the services done on your property.

What Exactly Is a Customer Portal? 

Maybe you’re already familiar with customer portals from other businesses you deal with, but if not, here’s how it works: 

A customer portal is a link you’ll see on the Level Green website that directly connects you to your account information. 

Click the link, and you can log into your account and view current and past invoices, see your upcoming visits, ask questions or request services. Review any proposals that have been suggested, and sign off on them right in your portal. 

It’s a self-service hub, allowing you to do anything you’d otherwise do via a phone call, text or email, but on your own time, and with a tangible record of all your commercial landscaping communication. 

“Most customers are used to having this kind of customer experience with other service providers,” says Marion Delano, director of Technology and Marketing for Level Green Landscaping. “They want to be able to log in to get information about their service. Now we offer this level of service, too. It offers so much information at your fingertips.”



What kind of information? Take a look: 

1. See All Your Upcoming Visits for the Next 30 Days

When will Level Green crews show up on your property in the next month? And what services will they provide?

Log in to your portal and see all your upcoming visits for the next 30 days. 

“An HOA may want to see when we’re coming so they can tell their residents to keep their dogs inside,” Delano says. “An office building may need somebody on site when we arrive to give us access to the roof.”

A school may want to check to make sure Level Green crews aren’t scheduled to visit on a day a big athletic event or graduation is happening.

If you see a conflict, and want to reschedule a visit for another day, you can use the request feature to ask for a schedule change. It makes commercial landscaping communication extra convenient. 

2. View Details of Past Visits

Can’t remember if Level Green crews already applied crabgrass prevention? Did your trees get treated for insects?

It’s all right there in your customer portal. See everything that’s been done on your property. 

3. Request a Service 

Do your boxwood shrubs need pruning? Did you decide you’d like fresh mulch after all? Did you notice a couple loose pavers on your patio? 

Request a service right in your customer portal. 

You can even attach photos. Wondering what caused the dead leaves on your crape Myrtle? Is there a bare area in your front signage planting bed?

Snap a photo and add it to your service request to help explain your need and boost your landscaping company communication. 

“Property managers are so busy, it’s hard for them to always meet in person to show their account manager a problem area on their property,” Delano says. “Now they can submit photos of the issue on their customer portal.”

4. See All the Proposals Offered 

What services has your account manager suggested? Need to refresh your memory? 

It’s all right there in your customer portal. You can see that your account manager suggested pots of seasonal flowers at your entrance, or that the canopies be elevated in your trees out front. 

You can even agree to a proposal right there in your portal and get the process started, streamlining your commercial landscaping communication. 

5. View All Your Invoices 

Looking for a current or past invoice to note how much you paid? Find it quickly in your customer portal. All past invoices are right here. 

Welcome to Convenience

You can review your accounts, request a service or make a payment on your own time, reducing the need for phone calls and emails. 

You can still call, email or text us about any issue as part of your commercial landscaping communication. 

But maybe something is on your mind at 10 p.m. Or maybe you love the idea of a “paper trail,” where your requests are written down in black and white. 

“Requests will go directly to your account manager and into our work ticket system,” Delano says. “Then you can track your request and see if it was completed or where it is in the process.”

Using your customer portal saves time. No more searching through your past emails or texts — it’s all handy, in your customer portal. 

“It adds another option for communication,” Delano says. “If you’d still rather call us or email or text, you can absolutely still do that. But this is trackable.”

And more efficient, he notes. Multiple team members check the portal several times a day, which means prompt attention to your requests. 

“This makes the whole Level Green team part of the communication, not just account managers,” Delano says. “A crew leader can hit a button that a shrub was pruned. The whole process is faster.”

Were flower beds weeded? Trees pruned? Mulch delivered? Irrigation checked?

There’s no mystery — it’s all outlined for property managers, in a snap. 

Now we’ll always add photos to make those reports even more complete. 
 
“People appreciate seeing a photo of their freshly mowed lawn or the newly installed flowers,” Delano says. “It’s picture proof we were there.”
